Adhere to system cleanliness

(1) Regularly replace hydraulic oil and filters

Good hydraulic oil contains various additives that can prevent oil degradation.

However, these additives will lose their effectiveness after a period of time. Therefore, oil should be replaced regularly to ensure the effectiveness of additives.

Filters can only absorb a limited amount of dust particles and other impurities from oil.

Regarding Hitachi Construction ZX series (medium) machines, please replace the hydraulic oil tank return filter every 1000 operating hours and clean the hydraulic oil tank suction filter when replacing hydraulic oil to maintain system cleanliness.

When replacing the hydraulic oil filter, please check if there are metal particles or debris at the bottom of the filter; If there are copper or iron shavings, it indicates that the hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor, or valve may be damaged or about to be damaged. If there is rubber, it indicates that the hydraulic cylinder seal is damaged.

(2) Regularly discharge fuel tank pollutants

Regularly draining water and sediment from the oil tank is crucial for removing impurities from the oil, but it is also important to regularly replace the hydraulic oil in the entire hydraulic system. This is the only reliable way to completely eliminate system impurities, oxidized hydraulic oil, and other harmful impurities. Then, the clean hydraulic oil recommended by Hitachi Construction Machinery should be reintroduced into the hydraulic system.

Please discharge the dirt from the hydraulic oil tank storage tank every 250 working hours.

(3) Cleaning

If the hydraulic oil is contaminated, especially when the pump, cylinder, or motor is damaged, it is necessary to replace all hydraulic oil and clean the oil tank.

Persist in cleaning the working area of hydraulic excavators

When adding or refilling hydraulic oil to the oil tank, ensure that the area around the filter cover is clean.

Only clean funnels or containers can be used.

Do not introduce dirt into the system.

When protecting the hydraulic system, only clean plastic plugs can be used to seal the ends of pipelines.

It is necessary to ensure the cleanliness of the workbench when protecting hydraulic components.
